PUTTING OUR FEET TO THE GROUND

Putting Our Feet To The Ground

Do you find yourself sometimes feeling completely just overwhelmed by a specific circumstance or by our current news and events? With recent COVID-19 news, and mask mandates, etc.—do you feel a anxious or depressed? With so much going on in the world and being inundated by the news and social media telling us where we should be going or what we should be doing.  Eat this, don’t eat that. Invest in this, not that. Look more like her/him, not like her/him. Or, this is how you should be a parent and what you should do or not do.

I find myself wondering how do we keep putting our feet to the ground and move in the direction that God wants us to go?

As believers, we are called to be Christ-like or Christly. I often times wonder how our lives would turn out or what our lives would be like if we all focus our energy on our Heavenly Father. What if we go to him in prayer first to gain his point of view? To stay focus in his love, faith, and trust in him our triumphant.

In John 16:33 (KJV) Jesus says, these things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

Let’s give God the Glory! Our God has fought numerous battles and won. We can rejoice in the comfort and trust that there is nothing in this world that can overpower us as long as we have Jesus in our hearts, by our side and in prayer.

1 Corinthians 15:57 says, but thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

As we continue to live our daily lives, I cannot stress enough the importance of living our lives as God intend for us to do. Once we trust in the plan that God has for us…we will no longer allow stressful situations or circumstances to take over our lives and define who we are.
God is on our side, always. He sees great things in each of us and through us. Our God has given us the power to create our own path of strength and individuality. He is with you always and with you in prayer. Take a moment and pray and reflect, allow the healing power of God to do his will.

Psalm 46:10 KJV says, be still, and know that I am God.
Let go and Let God!
