Michelle Obleton’s only claim to fame is that she knows Jesus Christ as her personal Lord and Savior. She became a Christian while living in Detroit Michigan .
Michelle met Fred Obleton who later became her husband. They both received Jesus Christ about the same time. They both began to attend Bible College and graduated together and moved to Dallas Texas attending Dallas Theological Seminary. They both served at Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship under the leadership of Dr. Tony Evans.
After Seminary they moved to Waukegan Illinois and started a church known today as Waukegan Community Church.
Michelle teaches a growing ministry in Lake County reaching women and young girls that extends outside the walls of her church. Michelle serves on several community boards including Lions Math and Science Christian Academy, as well as the Waukegan Housing Authority board. Michelle is a published writer which includes monthly articles in the Chicago Newspaper. She enjoys speaking and writing a weekly blog.
Michelle serves as the Executive Director of Ministries at Waukegan Community Church and is the Director of Lions Math and Science Christian Academy. Michelle has been happily married to Dr. Winfred Obleton for 41 years. They have two adult children, Shelby and Andrea Obleton and a 5 year old grandson.
