Welcome to Kids Ministry at WCC
WCC Kids Ministry is a safe, welcoming children’s ministry in Waukegan, IL, where kids grow in faith, learn God’s Word, and build community every Sunday. From our Nursery to our Sunday School Education classes, our heart is to partner with families as you lay a strong spiritual foundation for your children.
Whether they’re just learning to walk or growing into their own faith, every child experiences worship in ways they can understand—through songs, stories, hands-on activities, and moments of reflection that help them discover who Jesus is.

Baptism for Kids
Every child is created in the image of God—designed with purpose and the capacity to know Him, love others, and make a difference. At Waukegan Community Church, we come alongside families to help kids (through grade 5) understand what baptism means and why it’s a meaningful next step in following Jesus. Our heart is to equip parents, guide children, and celebrate joyfully as they publicly express their faith.
