Our Heart for Global and Local Mission
The mission of Waukegan Community Church extends far beyond the walls of our building. With a deep commitment to the Great Commission, we intentionally reach into communities across the world—sharing hope, supporting missionaries, and uplifting individuals in areas of great need. Our Global Outreach Ministry partners with dedicated leaders and ministries throughout Africa, Haiti, and right here in the United States to make a meaningful, lasting impact.
Through prayer, financial support, and hands-on ministry, WCC stands with those who are called to serve in challenging environments—helping spread the Gospel and meeting the needs of families, schools, and entire communities.
Local Outreach: Transforming Our Own Community
WCC continues to strengthen relationships within Lake County by partnering with local landlords and community leaders. We host monthly meetings to discuss neighborhood concerns, community needs, safety, and ways to build a healthier, more connected environment for families living near the church. This ongoing collaboration reflects our commitment to caring for the community God has planted us in.
Global Missions Spotlight
Abel and Priscilla Ndjerareou – Chad, Africa faithfully serve as Christian leaders and educators in Chad, mentoring and training future spiritual leaders. Through their work at a Christian school, they equip students with biblical foundations and leadership skills—empowering them to transform their communities for Christ.
Their ministry continues to grow, touching not just students but entire families through teaching, discipleship, and community service.
