DARE TO DREAM

DARE TO DREAM

I declare from the beginning how it will end and foretell from the start what has not yet happened. I decree that my purpose will stand, and I will fulfill my every plan. Isaiah 46:10

I heard an illustration of a young man who suffered with a recurring dream. Every night he had the same dream and every time he woke up, he found himself sweating from the dream. He dreaded going to sleep each night. In his dream, he was being chased by a monster. The monster was huge in size, with red eyes, and an ugly face that growled as he chased the young man. One night during this awful dream, the young man slipped and fell to the ground and the monster gained ground on him and was finally standing over him with loud growls. The young man looked up at the creature and shouted out “Are you going to kill me?” The monster said to the young man “It’s your dream, what do you want to happen?” What a dream stopper! Our dreams belong to us. We really do have the power to decide what we want and need in each of our dreams.

What dreams have you been having lately? These dreams can come to our minds as daily wishes, or they can become sleepless thoughts that keep us up in the night. Regardless, they are your dreams.

You may have suffered temporary defeat or disappointment, a thousand doors may have been slammed in your face, causing you to doubt any possible dream. But don’t give up! When your will and God’s are intertwined, He secures your victory, and nothing stands in His way. Lay your dream at His feet and find your peace. Dreams belong to God. It is out of this place of surrender that God will lead you, give you wisdom and bring your dreams into perfect alignment.

God says: “I have spoken, and yes I will bring it to pass”. To the young and to the old, hold on to the promises of God.

Dare to dream great dreams!

xoxo
