Back to School Prayer

Dear God

Schools are back in attendance across the nation. Children, teachers, and various school employees are leaving their homes and finding their seats in local schools everywhere. Lord, we need your help. We realize that unless you build our schoolhouses the teachers, administrators and students will attend institutions that have no lasting achievements. Lord, we know we have marginalized you in many schools. Despite our spiritual neglect we pray you would still extend your mercy and grace in our schools.

Protect the children that come to school each day needing safety and support from their teachers and administration. Keep evil forces of all kinds out of the schools. May no weapon formed at our children prosper. Bless the teachers that lead our children. Give them a double portion of strength and stamina each day. Remove the daily stresses that frustrate teachers like crowded rooms, lack of administrative support, and limited resources.
