On January 13, 1990, a popular American rapper, dancer, and record producer with the stage name MC Hammer released a signature single called, “You Can’t Touch This.” The message rang out that no one could touch his unique ability to dress and dance. He wore shiny pants that were tight around the legs but baggy around the thighs and hips. His top shirt matched his pants, with the front opening way down to his waist, allowing his chest to show. His movements were amazing as he spun around allowing his feet to slide from one side of the room to the other doing the shuffle dance. He wore dark sunglasses and danced with beautiful background women dancers. His performances were electrifying. Many would have agreed that MC Hammer’s performances were untouchable. But before MC Hammer ever said you can’t touch him, God said it about those that trust in him. Listen to what God says in Psalm 105:15 “Do not touch my anointed ones; do my prophets no harm.” Perhaps you have not heard of MC Hammer. I know for the younger generations, this may be true. But have you heard of the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning, and the End, the First and the Last, the one who walked on water?

MC Hammer made a song about himself, but God made a Psalm about you. God says He is a protector of His People.
Can you look back over your life and agree with me that God has been a protector? He has protected you from dangers seen and unseen. From some situations you knew about and some situations you did not know about. Every time we think on the goodness of the Lord, we need to give Him some praise. We need to agree with scripture that says, “Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.” The leading of the Lord in our lives is a precious gift. Not only does He protect, He performs with great precision. He leads us through life’s journey. He guides our future. He orders our steps. He knows the plans He has for our lives. We do not know the plans for our lives, but God does.
So, you know, it is God who really has all the right moves. His dynasty is from everlasting to everlasting. MC Hammer has gracefully slowed down in the music industry, but in many ways, God is just beginning.

The greatness in our God is so amazing, No one can touch this!
