WAUKEGAN COMMUNITY RESPONDS TO COVID-19 PANDEMIC

Dear WCC Family and Friends,

Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Lord, You have been our [b]dwelling place in all generations. Before the mountains were born[c]Or You gave birth to the earth and the world, Even from everlasting to everlasting, You are God Psalm 90:1-2

“God is our refuge and strength,

A very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth should change And though the mountains slip into the heart of the sea; …The LORD of hosts is with us; The God of Jacob is our stronghold.” (Psalm 46:1,2,11)

We hold to the truths of Scripture and we praise God and thank Him that He is our hope during this time of uncertainty in our world. As we face various trials, we know that God is in control and that we can fully trust Him to provide and take care of us. Our hearts will not submit to a spirit of fear as we fully trust in our sovereign LORD through the CoronaVirus Pandemic Crisis.

In a spirit of power, love and discipline (2 Tim. 1:7) we make the following response to the ongoing concerns about COVID-19 and the CDC guidelines for “social distancing” and limiting public gatherings to 10 people or less. We have decided to cancel all services and events for the time being as precautionary measures for our church through May 1st.

Cancelled Services include:
